We were quick to identify the benefits of using composite polymer insulator technology to replace traditional materials such as glass or porcelain for Insulators.

We developed a unique EPDM* cladding material formulation, which has been in service now for more than a quarter of a century and in a variety of applications.

Stand-off Insulators

11, 24 and 33kV Insulators, incorporating unique EPDM cladding material on a strong GRP rod. Primarily designed to be used in conjunction with modern MV cable pole terminations. The insulators can be purchased as individual units, in sets or in kit for supplied with the appropriate termination and if required with a support bracket. Now also available with SILICONE cladding

We have been manufacturing and supplying Electrical OEMs with polymeric-based components for an extensive range of applications since 1980. Over the years we have built up a wide-ranging customer reference base that reads like the who's who of the electrical world. GEC, Brush, Hawker Siddeley, Alstom, Reyrolle, NU-LEC, ABB, South Wales Switchgear, and Cutler Hammer to name but a few.

Railway and Light Rail Insulators

A reliable Rail network requires reliable insulators at its heart and although many new designs have been added to our ever expanding range over the years, the formulation of our EPDM has never changed and our reliable service history continues to be one of our greatest assets. Moulded onto high strength GRP rods, our range of insulators utilise unique EPDM cladding. This highly successful material has been well proven right around the World from desert conditions of Africa to the iced expanses of Canada and has also been used by many Electricity utilities for 40 years.
